Do any of you get weird emails?

For over 4 months I’ve been getting weird emails that look like stock exchange marketing ads but they make no sense. They don’t even have a link. They do however contain wierd sentences that make absolutley no sense like GPD HotHotHot this thursday be alert! going through the roof!About to EXPLODE!!! and short stories that make no sense on the bottom of every email. I also recieve those stupid hi my name is ***** and I am looking for someone to help me invest my fortune before I die. oh and Along with my fortune comes my only adopted child which you must take care of. Where do they come from? How can I stop them?

All the time and some of them can’t be stopped without spam filters. I’ve reported all the more persistant ones. It’s becoming a real pain.

It’s called junk mail and all you have to do is label them as junk!

Yes – those emails are making me insane. You can’t do a filter on them because the text of the message is actually a .jpg and the subject line is always some random crap. Blocking them is a waste most of the time too because those stock ones I think you’re talking about come through spoofed addresses.
Everyone I know has been getting them, and I haven’t heard a cure for them yet.

  7. Roberta Says:

The best way is to set up a filter to automatically delete all mail from those particular addresses.

There just spam trying to avoid the spam blocker on your email account. There maybe viruses, spy-ware, or malware attached so be careful opening anything attached to it. As for getting them blocked, good luck. You just need to keep reporting them and and blocking them with your email provider’s spam blocking system.

Just turn on SPAM FILTER,you wont see most of them.If they get thru delete or mark spam.I never open anything in bulk.No links or addresses you never open them, thats how i got my first virus and had to redo my whole computer.Ended up getting a new computer tower just to put my good things on and this one for my junk and to site search just incase of another virus,it only its my junk pc.
