email marketing is alive and well. The key is the way you capture the subscriber. Key word Subscriber…. You should only use an opt-in method with confirmation required. I have a list of over 3,000 opt-in subscribers who have all volunteered to my list by entering their name and email. My responder captures their IP address and time stamp should they ever question their sign up. The key is a good autoresponder for capturing subs and delivering email.

One is legitimate, where you have signed up for something and not clicked theDon’t pass my details on box.
The other, where e-mails are obtained by harvesting websites, is illegal

Remember, you can always Opt-Out if you are no longer interested.
