Does anyone want free electricity? Help us help you! We have the answer that the economy needs?

A friend and I that go to school together have been working on this project for over a year now, we have a working prototype of a generator created that does not require gas to produce electricity. We have done numerous presentations and people get all excited about it, but it has been very difficult to find funding to get this product to a market. It is almost as if people are scared of change, and do not want to try something new. We need help funding the final developments of this product to make it look commercial. It is currently made up of all sorts of gadgets, but it works!! You can power a computer, a refrigerator and all sorts of household appliances without ever plugging this thing in (and no its not solar or wind powered either). This has been tested by the engineering department at a university near by and is proven to work- we can show you. We can even make one on a larger scale to power a home, we just need financial support. Can anyone make any suggestions or lead us in the right direction?

we have a us patent. We had an attorney but we are just 2 college kids with little money, not many attorneys will work before being paid unless they share your dream and we have not found one who does just yet :)
I have sent letters and email to so many companies and RD Firms, but still no response. I have even tried contacting politicians- but nothing yet :(
Sorry I can not share every detail of it online for confidentiality reasons. When ever we do a presentation, contracts must be signed, its a dirty world out there. But we are willing to meet with people who can possibly help us.

If you have a patent I don’t see why you’re so concerned over secrecy since people could just go and read your patent and figure out a different method of duplicating it, if it indeed is something ground breaking.
If you have something that makes electricity, consider also a great deal of other things make electricity too. Your new thing must be as a whole cheaper than those in some niche market before it will ever see the light of day.

U posted this in YA to raise fund for ur project..which means that ur willing to accept fund from oversea(International)..

Im a final year engineering student and currently a vice - president for a Robocon..we have quite large financial contributors that willing to sponsor new projects..

Im quite interested in the idea of a free electricity, eventhought its imposible to do that as for industrial size there are many factors to consider; maintenance, RD…

But to reduce the cost is diff. matter, maybe theres a way to get a cheaper electricity to home or atleast to power up appliancess (concepts)..

If u can explain further (by email) or any way that u convenient about ur project to me, maybe i can convince our contributor to fund ur project..Uve pattent ur project btw, so dont worry for any duplication..

Also i would like to know ur details (engineering background, asl)..

btw the free electricity or electricity for free can be a great topic to discuss..

    Sounds great.

Yep, I’d call your bluff as well.
Send me the patent numbers. I’ll send you the non-disclosure forms commercial contacts.
Contracts do not scare real companies, we have standard forms.
What we do not like is wasting time.

    BTW:
You cannot make power from nothing. You must be transforming from one source to another.
You cannot get a US patent for free.
A provisional is cheap, but a US patent is expensive per claim.

You left out the part about being from Nigeria and how your uncle died and left you this technology.

    This is a SCAM.

gigitruth, tell us the patent numbers, and more details if this is for real. As one of the other answers said, there is no reason for confidentiality if you have a patent.
