So i’ve been looking for a job on Craigslist and its seems like maybe one in three jobs i apply for bounces back to me with these somewhat realistic sounding email saying something like we liked your resume, but first we need you to fill out this online form on this website so then you go to the website to fill out the form and its just an advertisement or a trick to get you to sign up for a marketing email. So how do they profit from this?
How do those scam posters profit from fake postings on Craigslist?

They have a lot of different methods to benifit from doing this.
one way is once you enter you email even if you dont buy, they then have email that they can sell to other companies.
That is one of many way in which they can mke money from you visiting a website. I won’t go into other methods here.
