I resigned from a seasonal job today and I received an email back promptly from the Chief Marketing Officer. She wants me to send her my personal email address to stay in touch. And asked that I don’t be a stranger. Umm… She never really bothered with me. She didn’t even invite me to the Holiday Party now she wants this? Is it a trick? What should I respond back with?
How do I respond to this email now that I resigned?

be nice to her and leave her your email address. ask her for her cell phone number for the same reason. sounds like you did a good job and she wants some more work out of you.

If you resigned then move that message to the trash unless you plan to apply for the same temp job in the future.

Unless you are harboring ill feelings towards your company, and/or this individual, don’t burn bridges. What is the harm in giving this person your e-mail? What happens if they saw value in your talents, and see something that makes sense to you in the future - and they don’t have your information. If she is being straight with you, she is simply networking. If she is not, you can ignore her future messages.
