I resigned from a seasonal job today and I received an email back promptly from the Chief Marketing Officer. She wants me to send her my personal email address to stay in touch. And asked that I don’t be a stranger. Umm… She never really bothered with me. She didn’t even invite me to the Holiday Party now she wants this? Is it a trick? What should I respond back with?

I looked at the site and it i can it is fairly new cuz they are still working on it. but there is an email for those interested in career opportunities. there was no name so how can i start of the email? and end it? its for a sales and marketing position.

I would like to work from my home base computer and was told my best bet would be internet marketing. I am currently a Licensed Real Estate agent is their anthing in marketing that would pertain to my current position?

We have sales representatives all over the world to distribute our products. You know, that it’s not easy to start a business in a new market (being the US). So my dad keeps bitching cuz he says we’re gonna lose the house blah blah blah and he wants some information on working from the computer. He’s not a computer genious at all, so owning his own site is out. And so is selling a product. Can anyone give me any information that can help me? Also, I’ve heard people say they’ve made a couple hundred a month online, how do they do that? Thanks for anything you can tell me.

I interviewed for a job as a part-time Marketing assistant on Tuesday Nov. 11th. Should I call or email the lady and ask if she has chosen anyone? I really need this part time job.

I work for an insurance company. Here are some of the things I do:
-Generate weekly newsletter and email to our subscriber base
-Scan the internet looking for mentions of our company and our competitors
-Oversee our company web site and make changes as needed (not an IT person, though - no formal training)
-Monitor web traffic to our site
-Write emails, create marketing pieces (mostly text) as directed by our company president and my supervisor
-Come up with ideas for new ways to sell our insurance products
-Attend trade shows and mingle with people
-A lot of work directly from the company president, such as correspondance to emails he gets.

They never really gave me a title for this job. It started as CSR since I was taking calls initially, but havent for about 18 months now. I want to apply for other jobs but am not sure what to put as job title, as CSR is misleading.

Is this a marketing director? Marketing Communications director? Internet Marketing Specialist? What else?
