Email marketing

I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was LEGAL to sell free email accounts.

I did a search for PS3’s and come accross a guy on eBay selling a Yahoo email account. This bid is under $5 so far, but it raises the question if it’s even LEAGAL to do this.

His screen name (eBay) is ‘delicategifts’ and in his description, he says that the winning bidder is to recieve the password to the account. He/she is putting some sort of marketing spin on it, making it sound like a goldmine to those who are trying to market PS3’s early.

Anyone ideas?

I use Yahoo! Mail Plus and I’ve run into a problem when seraching (example: for a sender’s email) just within the last few weeks. Prior to that time, a serach would return all emails from (example) john.doe - no matter how far back in time. Recently, it only returns the last 3-6 matching emails or so.
I think part of the problem is size of my mailbox - I’ve done a lousy job of managing it (lots of marketing emails, 1x or 2x per week, from hotels, airlines, WSJ, active.com, and lots of other services marketers.) I’m ging to clean it up - but it may take me a weekend day as has reached 16k+ emails over 3 years.
Does anyone have an idea of what size (# of emails) - threshold - I have to get below in order for searches to once again return full results sets? (Btw, not seraching for content, just senders ususally).
Thanks very much for any ideas - don’t know what changed unless inbox finally passed some limit.

I got a credit for the card itself, but can’t get credit for the calls placed. First I was notified by a company that one of their employees sold their consumer info to a data broker, who in-turn sold sub-sets to direct marketing and gaming industry organizations. This is the 1st time something’s happened, but I HAVE to open a new Yahoo account since I can’t CLOSE my email. I would like comments on what I have decided to do, and if anyone knows of something easier, please advise! I am disabled, live on fixed income and can’t afford premium services.
The only way I can see to fix this is to:
Open a new Yahoo account;
E-mail my address book (friends) new addy;
Change addy on vendor/business accts;
E-mail my saved messages to new addy;
Print out address book and manually input into new addy;
Post automatic reply reminding initial addy closed WITHOUT giving new addy; and
Pray for the best!

I work at home for a company doing marketing. I send out several marketing emails to clients. I use a hotmail account for my email so I was wandering what the difference is between Bcc and Cc? I want to make sure that when I send out several emails to clients that the other email addresses won’t be seen.
