I work in the marketing department and I have to send emails to some clients who hold yahoo accounts. The strange thing is yahoo seems to block all emails sent from my company account. I don’t understand why this is so because we never spam anyone. Has it to do with our hosting company? How do I request yahoo to stop blocking emails sent from my company’s email accounts?

Sorry, posted double details above. Basically want to highlight that my company’s account is a separate registered domain. With regards to the first answer I’ve got below, how do I add my clients to a safe list if I’m not sending email from my personal yahoo account?

I have a home based website. Occasionally users have had trouble with the process on our website and have used our Contact form and requested an email reply back from us.

Unfortunately in many cases with Yahoo, when I send out the email reply it often never makes it to the user (ends up in SPAM folder). My website does not send SPAM (unsolicited email) and does not have any marketing campaign. We also never reply with attached files We only send out emails to those that email us first and have requested a reply.

What is wrong here, and what is the best way to fix it? Is tehre a way to be added to a safe list? Should I block users from signing up with Yahoo accounts? or block all yahoo emails and have a reply through an alternate site that they must use a non-yahoo account?

I help to market an incredible indie band (Kush) and need to inform their fan base of upcoming shows, events and so on (there are 400 people on the list who voluntarily signed up and want this info). Right now, we send this service out to a bulk emailer, but often these messages (professionally designed in html) end up in my Bulk folder. I can’t really use Outlook (I work from different locations so sharing a router causes problems) and want to know what the maximum number of emails that I can send out at once from Yahoo is as well as the best way to go about this. Any suggestions??? Thank you.
